Filipino-American pop star Olivia Rodrigo has revealed the full tracklist for her highly anticipated third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come ahead of its June 12 release.
The 13-track album is divided into two thematic sections — “Girl So in Love” and “You Seem Pretty Sad” — signaling a dual narrative that blends romance with emotional introspection.
The first half, “Girl So in Love,” includes seven tracks: “Drop Dead,” the album’s lead single, along with “Stupid Song,” “Honeybee,” “Maggots for Brains,” “U+Me = <3,” “My Way,” and “Purple.” The songs appear to lean into themes of infatuation, youthful love and playful rebellion.
The second section, “You Seem Pretty Sad,” shifts tone with a more introspective lineup featuring “What’s Wrong With Me,” “Less,” “Expectations,” and “Cigarette Smoke.”
It also includes “The Cure,” a recently released single that has already drawn attention for its emotional depth.
“Only 3 weeks till the album is yours!” Rodrigo wrote in a post on Facebook. “I can’t wait for you guys to hear these songs.”
The upcoming record marks Rodrigo’s first full-length release since her 2023 sophomore album, Guts, which solidified her status as one of pop music’s most influential young voices.
With its split structure and contrasting themes, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love is expected to showcase Rodrigo’s continued evolution as a songwriter, blending sharp lyricism with raw emotion — a signature style that has resonated with a global audience.
