An oil tanker truck overturned after hitting the railings of the Lasatin Flyover along Jose Abad Santos Avenue in San Fernando, Pampanga, early Sunday morning, November 9.

According to a report by Val Gonzales, the incident occurred around 4:00 a.m.

Louie Climente, chief of the City Public Order and Coordinating Office, said a small amount of gasoline leaked from the tanker but was quickly contained.

Climente added that the truck driver was unharmed and was alone at the time of the accident.

Authorities have temporarily closed the affected lane, prohibiting motorists and pedestrians from passing through the area.

Traffic enforcers from Bacolor, Pampanga have been deployed to divert vehicles to alternate routes.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
