Leila Alcasid and indie singer-rapper Mito Fabie, widely known as Curtismith, celebrated their second wedding together.
After the intimate ceremony, Leila’s father, Ultimate Singer-Songwriter Ogie Alcasid, took to Instagram to share heartfelt advice for the newlyweds. In his post, Alcasid offered seven meaningful reminders meant to help guide the couple toward a happy and lasting marriage.
Among Ogie's words of wisdom were "to make mistakes as a couple," and "to fail or to lose-this is how you win in life." He also reassured the pair, writing, "of what life may bring you-you have each other as perfect partners to weather any storms."
Alcasid further emphasized the realities of married life, reminding them that "life is really about peaks and valleys and this is what makes life exciting." He encouraged the couple "to keep fighting for your love for one another most especially during the times that you can't stand each other," as stated in his caption.
He concluded by stressing that forgiveness plays a vital role in a successful marriage, adding that the best chapters of their journey together are still ahead.
The couple first tied the knot in Sydney, Australia shortly after announcing their engagement in September 2024. At that time, Leila and Mito had been together for five years.
