The Northeast Monsoon, or Amihan, is affecting Northern and Central Luzon, while easterlies are bringing weather disturbances over the rest of the country, according to PAGASA on Sunday, November 8.

In its 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Quezon, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Islands, and Davao Oriental will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Residents in these areas are advised to remain alert for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rainfall.

Meanwhile, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon, with no significant impact expected.
