The Philippine National Police (PNP) has yet to issue a wanted poster for Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, saying its ongoing manhunt operations are already in place to enforce the arrest warrant against him.

According to sa report by RH Edniel Parrosa, PNP spokesperson Col. Allen Rae Co said Thursday the police force would consider issuing a wanted poster if it determines that doing so would help authorities serve the warrant.

For now, tracker teams, reinforced by the PNP’s elite Special Action Force, are conducting operations to locate the senator, Co said.

He added that the PNP is prepared to explore all legal means to enforce the law.

The police gave Dela Rosa until Friday, Oct. 30, to surrender under a one-week ultimatum issued as authorities intensify efforts to locate him.

Dela Rosa is being sought as an alleged co-perpetrator in the crimes against humanity case against former President Rodrigo Duterte before the International Criminal Court.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government has described Dela Rosa as the country’s No. 1 most wanted person, citing a ₱50 million reward for information leading to his arrest.

The reward is more than double the ₱20 million bounty offered for businessman Charlie “Atong” Ang, who is also wanted by authorities.
