No low pressure area (LPA) is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday.

“As of 8:00 a.m. today, January 11, 2026, no low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation,” the state weather bureau said.

Meanwhile, based on PAGASA’s 4:00 a.m. bulletin, the shear line, easterlies, and the northeast monsoon or amihan will continue to bring cloudy skies and rains over different parts of the country.

Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.

The Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

Metro Manila, the Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, the rest of CALABARZON, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

The Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
