A new chapter in local volleyball development has begun following the official launch of Next Level VolleyCamp, a premium training community designed to deliver high-level coaching and professional-style preparation to athletes in Metro Manila.
Founded by veteran coach Dexter Clamor, the camp was established with the goal of narrowing the gap between amateur participation and elite-level performance.
Leveraging his years of experience in both domestic and international competitions, Clamor has partnered with several of his former players from Cignal Super Spikers and Alas Pilipinas to mentor and train aspiring volleyball players.
Unlike traditional clinics, Next Level VolleyCamp focuses on direct knowledge transfer from seasoned athletes to trainees, allowing participants to learn techniques, discipline, and in-game decision-making straight from players who have competed at the highest levels.
”We wanted to create a space where the love for the sport is shared directly. By learning from the best, our campers don't just improve their skills—they become part of a strong community dedicated to spreading the word and the love for volleyball,” said Clamor.
The program goes beyond fundamental drills, incorporating modern coaching systems, technical breakdowns, and performance analysis methods commonly used in professional teams.
The camp formally unveiled its home base at MIA Sports Center, which will serve as its main training venue. The launch event drew strong support from the volleyball community, highlighted by the attendance of members of the Cignal Super Spikers women's team.
Among those present were national team standouts Vanie Gandler, Dawn Macandili, Ishie Lalongisip, and Jacky Acuna.
Next Level VolleyCamp is now operating in Metro Manila and is open to volleyball enthusiasts aiming to train under professional standards while becoming part of a rapidly growing volleyball community.
