Net satisfaction with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s performance dropped from -3 in November 2025 to -15 in March this year, according to the Social Weather Stations’ (SWS) latest survey, the survey research institute announced on Tuesday.

Based on data gathered from March 24 to 31, SWS learned that only 33 percent of adult Filipinos said they were satisfied, 18 percent were undecided, and 49 percent were dissatisfied with Marcos’ performance.

“Compared to November 2025, gross satisfaction with President Marcos fell from 40%, gross undecided hardly moved from 17%, and gross dissatisfaction rose from 43%,” SWS said.

The institute concluded that President Marcos’ performance evaluation was now “poor,” from a previously “neutral” perception. In addition, this new rating is even lower than the previous “poor” rating Marcos received at -12 in March last year.

“The resulting net satisfaction rating is -15 (% satisfied minus % dissatisfied), classified by SWS as poor (-10 to -29). This is 12 points down from the neutral -3 in November 2025, and a new personal record-low that surpassed the previous low of poor -12 in March 2025,” the SWS explained.

The SWS conducted face-to-face interviews with 1,500 individuals 18 years old and above nationwide.

The institute interviewed 300 participants from Metro Manila, 300 from the Visayas region, and 300 from Mindanao. The survey also includes information collected from 600 individuals in “Balance Luzon,” or areas within Luzon but beyond Metro Manila.

“The sampling error margins are ±3% for national percentages, ±6% each for Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao, and ±4% for Balance Luzon,” the SWS disclosed, adding that the number of the survey participants was determined by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) medium-population projections for 2026.
