The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has been placed on full alert in preparation for the observance of Undas 2026.
NCRPO spokesperson Lt. Col. Hazel Asilo told DZRH News that the heightened security status took effect at 12:01 a.m. on October 30 and will remain in place until November 3, according to a report by RH Jecelle Ricafort.
Asilo said the police force is ensuring 101% operational readiness for the observance, with more than 13,000 police personnel set to be deployed across Metro Manila.
NCRPO Officer-in-Charge Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano has directed district directors, chiefs of police and station commanders to intensify police visibility and patrol operations in cemeteries, memorial parks, transportation hubs, major roads, commercial areas and other public places expected to draw large crowds.
Police assistance desks and help booths will also be established in strategic locations to provide directions and respond promptly to emergencies and other untoward incidents.
Abrahano said the NCRPO would also remain vigilant against common crimes during the Undas period, including theft, robbery, pickpocketing, scams and other offenses.
