The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has announced that it is prepared for Traslacion 2026.

According to the report by RH Jecelle Ricafort in dzRH's Magandang Umaga Pilipinas, the NCRPO’s Regional Force Battalion, together with personnel from various police districts and allied units, conducted early preparations through final rehearsals and deployment walkthroughs in anticipation of the influx of Jesus Nazareno devotees.

These activities were aimed at ensuring operational readiness for crowd management and security during the religious event.

A total of 274 police personnel were deployed under the leadership of Force Commander Colonel Celso Rodriguez. The forces were sent to the Quirino Grandstand on Saturday, January 3, to carry out the final rehearsal and walkthrough.

During the activity, authorities established human barricades and evaluated the movement and coordination of personnel as part of crowd control measures.

The exercise also focused on maintaining discipline and ensuring the safety of both police officers and devotees within designated areas.

The NCRPO reiterated its strong commitment as the lead security provider for Traslacion 2026, emphasizing its clear objective to ensure order, discipline, and the safety of all participating devotees throughout the event.
