The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) is on standby in case its officers are needed outside the Senate building on the second day of the impeachment trial today, July 7.
Speaking to DZRH, NCRPO Spokesperson PMaj. Hazel Asilo said their Civil Disturbance Management Unit and Reactionary Standby Support Force personnel are ready to promptly respond when the situation calls for it, reported RH 15 Jecelle Ricafort.
Vice President Sara Duterte’s supporters have arrived outside the Senate, bearing placards and tarpaulins. They chanted in support of Duterte, with some accusing the officials involved in the impeachment trial of corruption.
