

The National Capital Region Police Office has denied reports circulating on social media claiming that its personnel are under a “one-week duty, two-weeks off” arrangement and an eight-hour duty schedule.
In a statement, the NCRPO said the claims circulating online are untrue and do not reflect the policies being implemented within the police force.
The NCRPO emphasized that its existing programs and policies remain in place to ensure the welfare of its personnel and proper work arrangements.
It also assured the public that its personnel and resources remain ready to respond promptly to incidents across Metro Manila.
The police office said the public can expect continuous police services and intensified police visibility throughout the capital region.
The NCRPO urged the public and its personnel not to immediately believe or share “fake news” and misleading narratives, particularly those circulating online.
The police office reiterated its commitment to maintaining operational readiness and uninterrupted service to the public.
