The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) conducted a final rehearsal and walkthrough early Saturday at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila to ensure security readiness for the upcoming Nazareno 2026 activities.
Around 274 personnel from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB), along with district units and allied forces, were deployed starting at 4:00 a.m. on January 4, 2026. The activity included accounting, dispatch, and the establishment of human barricades to test crowd control and safety measures.
The rehearsal was supervised by RMFB NCRPO officials under the guidance of Force Commander PCOL Celso M. Rodriguez, in line with the directives of NCRPO Regional Director PMGEN Anthony A. Aberin and the Triple A Policy Framework—Able, Active, Allied.
Police officials said the successful walkthrough demonstrated the readiness of NCRPO forces to serve as Andas Security, with the goal of ensuring order, discipline, and public safety during the annual Traslacion of the Black Nazarene.
