National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Major General Anthony Aberin personally inspected the security setup around Forbes Park in Makati City on Sunday morning in preparation for the scheduled anti-Marcos rally led by Congressman Kiko Kabarzaga later tonight.

In an interview with DZRH News' reporter Jecelle Ricafort, Aberin said that a total of 615 personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), and Private security forces have been deployed in the area to ensure peace and order.

He added that 255 personnel from the Reactionary Standby Support Force of the Southern Police District are also on standby to provide additional manpower if necessary.

According to Aberin, other gates of the exclusive residential subdivision have likewise been manned by NCRPO personnel, on top of the more than 230 officers deployed in various parts of Makati.

In the Taguig area, particularly along Shell Makati at the corner of EDSA and McKinley Road, as well as on 5th Avenue, 158 police officers have been stationed.

As of this writing, the surroundings of Forbes Park remain calm and peaceful, including the area near the Buendia Gate, where the rally is expected to take place at around 10 p.m. tonight.
