The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has reminded police officers that visiting bars, casinos, cockfights, and other illegal establishments is strictly prohibited.
In an advisory, the NCRPO urged the public to report any police officer involved in such activities to the Unified 911 Hotline to ensure swift action and accountability.
NCRPO chief PMGEN Anthony A. Aberin warned that personnel found guilty of engaging in illegal gambling will face both administrative and criminal charges.
The reminder aligns with the Philippine National Police’s Personal Decorum guidelines, which stress ethical conduct, professionalism, and the duty of officers to uphold public trust and place public interest above personal gain.
