

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board - National Capital Region (NCR) announced that private sector workers will receive higher minimum wages starting July 25.
According to an official publication dated July 9, a first tranche will provide an increase of ₱60, and a second, on January 20, 2027, will augment this with ₱25.
This month, workers in non-agriculture sectors will receive a minimum wage of ₱755 daily. Meanwhile, workers in the agriculture sector—along with those in service and retail establishments with 15 or less employees and manufacturing establishments with less than 10 regular employees—will receive a minimum of ₱718 a day.
After January 20, 2027, the first group will begin earning a minimum of ₱780 daily, and the second, a minimum of ₱743 every day.
At present, the minimum wage for non-agriculture sectors stands at ₱695, while the minimum wage for the agriculture sector and small service, retail, and manufacturing enterprises is at ₱658.
