The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has submitted to Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla its fact-finding report on the 2024-2025 statements of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALNs) of Vice President Sara Duterte.

The NBI said it compared Duterte’s SALNs with certified true copies of land titles obtained from the Land Registration Authority as part of its mandate to investigate public corruption.

The submitted documents include the SALNs, an intelligence report, 14 LRA-verified maps, 22 land titles covering 14 properties, and surveillance photos and videos.

NBI Director Melvin Matibag said the bureau is prepared to provide additional records and serve as a witness if requested by the Office of the Ombudsman.

The submission comes as the anti-graft body examines the information gathered by the NBI. Further details about the report’s findings are yet to be disclosed.
