The andas of Jesus Nazarene continues to move slowly along Carlos Palanca Street as of 2:00 p.m., according to live reports from the Traslacion route. The image has yet to cross the Quezon Bridge as dense crowds continue to affect the pace of the procession.
DZRH reporter Edniel Parrosa, who is positioned at the tail end of the procession, said communication has been difficult due to his location at the back of the crowd. He noted that Manila LGU cleanup teams were immediately deployed in the area, collecting trash left by devotees and restoring the road so quickly that it appeared as if no procession had passed through.
Based on accounts from devotees and marshals on site, the andas remains within the Carlos Palanca area, with authorities continuing to monitor crowd movement and maintain order as the Traslacion progresses.
