A limited edition Spoliarium Beep Card is now up for grabs in the National Museum in commemoration of the 140th anniversary of Juan Luna's renowned masterpiece.
On Monday, May 20, the National Museum together with Beep Card unveiled the special edition beep card, which is priced at PHP 500 with no load included.
"In celebration of Luna's enduring influence, the National Museum released a limited edition beep™ card featuring Spoliarium, blending art appreciation with modern convenience," Beep Card said in a Facebook post.
The card, which bears the original artwork on the front and a photo of Juan Luna’s bust on the back, can be purchased at the pop-up store in Osmeña Hall on the second floor of the National Museum of Fine Arts, where the painting is currently displayed.
The pop-up store will operate for a month until June 21 or until supplies last. The card is valid until June 2028.
Other than the beep cards, they also released other merch bearing the artwork, such as mugs, coasters, ref magnets, keychains, stickers, t-shirts, and more.
Beep cards can be used in the LRT-1, LRT-2, MRT-3, P2P buses, public utility vehicles, Cebu ferries, and select convenience stores and partner merchants.
