The National Police Commission (Napolcom) has ordered the dismissal of a Police Staff Sergeant from service over a series of “sexually suggestive, indecent, and immoral” posts on social media.
In a statement released Saturday, Napolcom said that Police Staff Sergeant Alexis Karil Sabater, who ran the social media account ‘Semi Pogi,’ posted videos from April to June 2025 that the commission described as sexually explicit and degrading to women.
Napolcom vice chairperson Commissioner Rafael Vicente Calinisan stressed the severity of the misconduct and ordered a "motu proprio investigation" into the matter.
“Ako po ang nag-order ng motu proprio investigation dito. Ito po ay malinaw na insulto sa dignidad ng mga kababaihan — pulis pa naman siya," Calinisan said.
“Magsilbing babala po ito sa mga vloggers: use your influence with prudence and be responsible when posting on social media,” he warned.
According to Napolcom, Sabater videos documented acts such as holding papers with vulgar slang terms for sexual intercourse, slapping a woman and forcing her to eat food, simulating thrusting motions suggestive of sexual activity, showing women receiving massages with visible breast exposure, and depicting children drinking milk while he consumed beer.
In some of the videos, Sabater was seen wearing his police uniform and identifying himself as a member of the Philippine National Police (PNP), despite not being part of the official content creator or vlogger team of the PNP. This violated PNP Memorandum Circular No. 2024-077, which prohibits the unauthorized use of police uniforms in social media content.
Sabater was found guilty of “conduct unbecoming of a police officer” and was subsequently dismissed from the police service.
