The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) issued reassignments of Philippine National Police (PNP) officers to third-level positions on Monday, September 1.
According to the Resolution No. 2025-0558 issued by NAPOLCOM, which was signed by Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remula, Ex-Officio Chairperson of NAPOLCOM, together with Commissioner Ralph Calinisan, Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer, Commissioners Ricardo P. Bernabe III, Beatrice Aurora Vega-Cancio, Josephus Angan, and PLTGen Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr., and Ex-Officio Commissioner.
Below are the PNP officers and their respective positions:
- PLTGen. Bernard Banac as Acting Deputy Chief for Administration
- PMGen Robert Alexander Morico II., as Acting Director of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)
- PMGen Anthony Aberin as the Regional Director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO)
- PBGen Christopher Abrahano as Officer in Charge, Commander of Area Police Command (APC) Visayas
- PBGen Paul Kenneth Lucas as Regional Director of Police Regional Office 4A (PRO4-A)
- PBGen Jack Wanky as Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA) of NCRPO
- PBGen Romeo Macapaz as Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit
- PBgen Arnold Ardiente as Regional Director of Police Regional Office 12 (PRO 12)
- PBGen William Segun as Personnel Holding and Accounting Unit
- PCol Hansel Marantan as Acting Director of Highway Patrol Group (HPG)
- PCol Jonathan Abella as Acting Director of Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Group (EOD K9)
- PCol Arnold Rosero as Deputy Director for Administration, EOD K9
This came after General Nicolas Torre III was relieved of his post as PNP Chief on August 25, with PLTGen Jose Nartatez Jr. taking over as Acting Chief of the PNP through Resolution No. 2025-0552.
