Singer Kris Lawrence revisited a decades-old incident after a video of Alvin Aragon admitting to stealing his mobile phone resurfaced online.

In the 2024 video, Aragon confessed, “Si Kris Lawrence ‘yung singer, ninakawan ko ng cellphone ‘yun sa bahay nila.”

On social media, Kris confirmed the incident happened 20 years ago, in 2006.

He recalled meeting Aragon at a bar. After their night out ended, he invited Aragon and some friends to his home. It was only the following morning that he realized his phone was missing.

“We’re at the bar, nakilala ko si Alvin...bitin kami sa inuman, ininvite ko sila sa bahay. No’ng sumisikat na yung araw, pack-up na, umalis na sila,” Kris shared.

“When I was going back to my room, I noticed that nawawala cellphone ko,” he added.

According to Kris, one of Aragon’s friends later called and admitted that Aragon had taken the phone. “I think naguilty yung isang friend niya, tinawagan niya ako and inamin na si Alvin yung kumuha,” Kris said.

Despite his initial anger, Kris accepted Aragon’s apology. “Long story short nag sorry siya, honestly.. gusto ko siyang suntukin pero I know that violence is never the answer.. I said it’s okay” he said.

Reflecting on the event, Kris noted that it happened two decades ago and that he believes Aragon is a ”good person.”

Ending with a playful jab, the singer said, “Ikaw kasi Alvin, kinalimutan ko na ‘yun, pinaalala mo pa.”

”Naibalik mo ba?”he asked.
