The Muntinlupa City Police Station continues to validate a reported security concern at San Beda College Alabang, as authorities and school officials take precautionary measures while verifying the information.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said the Muntinlupa police, in close coordination with the school administration, immediately conducted security sweeps, facility inspections, and verification procedures following the report.
Authorities emphasized that there was no verified information establishing that an actual threat had been carried out or that there was an imminent intention to do so.
Following the security assessment, the SPD said “no verified or imminent threat was established, and the campus was declared safe and clear.”
The police also clarified that the security measures implemented at the school were precautionary and should not be interpreted as confirmation of an actual or imminent threat.
With the completion of the initial security checks, the school administration announced the resumption of regular on-campus classes and other academic and administrative activities on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
The SPD assured students, parents, faculty members, school personnel, and the public that appropriate security measures and continuous monitoring will remain in place. Police visibility and coordination with the school administration will also be maintained to help ensure the safety of the campus community.
Authorities likewise urged the public to remain vigilant and immediately report any information involving possible security threats to school officials, the nearest police station, or through 911.
At the same time, the SPD appealed to the public to refrain from spreading unverified information that could cause unnecessary fear, confusion, or disruption.
The police district said it will continue coordinating with educational institutions within its area of responsibility to promptly address security concerns and maintain safe learning environments.
