In celebration of Consumer Welfare Month, the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will offer free rides to commuters on October 26, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced.

According to MRT-3 management, the free ride program will be available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and again from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

“Ang Libreng Sakay ay tugon ng MRT-3 at Department of Transportation sa kahilingan ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ngayong Buwan ng mga Konsyumer,” the agency said in a statement.

The initiative aims to show appreciation to Filipino consumers while promoting public awareness of their rights and responsibilities.
