The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced on Sunday that it will offer free rides for veterans starting Monday in celebration of the 84th Day of Valor and this year’s Philippine Veterans Week.

The offer begins April 6 through April 11, and may be availed during all operating hours.

Veterans will only need to present their Veteran’s ID or any valid ID to station personnel for a Single Journey Ticket (SJT).

They may bring one other person, an aide or companion.

“Ang inisyatibong ito ay pagkilala sa sakripisyo at kabayanihan ng ating mga beterano para sa kalayaan ng bansa,” the DOTr said in the announcement.
