

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced adjusted operating hours for MRT-3 during the Christmas and New Year holidays to manage passenger demand.
On Christmas Eve (December 24) and New Year’s Eve (December 31), the DOTr announced that the last train will depart North Avenue Station at 7:45 p.m., while the final trip from Taft Avenue Station will leave at 8:23 p.m. Regular first trips will remain at 4:30 a.m. from North Avenue and 5:05 a.m. from Taft Avenue.
Meanwhile, on Christmas Day (December 25) and New Year’s Day (January 1), train operations will start later, with the first trips from both North Avenue and Taft Avenue stations at 6:30 a.m. The last trip will depart North Avenue at 10:30 p.m. and Taft Avenue at 11:19 p.m.
Normal MRT-3 operations will resume from December 26 to 30, 2025, and again starting January 2, 2026.
