The Manila Police District (MPD) will deploy around 1,500 personnel to major Manila cemeteries until November 2 to ensure public safety during the Undas observance.
MPD spokesperson Police Major Philip Ines said officers will be stationed at the Manila North Cemetery, Manila South Cemetery, La Loma Cemetery, and Manila Chinese Cemetery.
The MPD will also use drones, plainclothes officers, and CCTV monitoring to manage crowds and prevent criminal activities.
Ines advised the public to visit cemeteries early to avoid overcrowding, as more visitors are expected this year, with November 1 and 2 falling on a weekend.
