A 46-year-old motorcycle taxi rider was robbed and killed after he was stabbed by his passenger in Barangay 20, Caloocan City last Tuesday, July 14.
The victim was identified as Fabio Norberte, a resident of Quezon City.
Police said Norberte sustained a stab wound on the left side of his body and was declared dead on arrival at the Caloocan City Medical Center.

Hours after the crime in Caloocan, the suspect struck again in Malabon and snatched a cellphone from another victim.

The suspect allegedly threatened another victim with an ice pick and demanded the victim’s mobile phone. However, after the victim resisted and called for help, nearby residents responded and chased the suspect.

The suspect was later apprehended by the Malabon City Police. Recovered from him were the stolen motorcycle and the ice pick allegedly used during the robbery.
The suspect, a 43-year-old resident of Malabon City, is now detained at the Malabon City Police Station.
