The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has placed its Flood Control and Sewerage Management Office (FCSMO) on heightened alert in preparation for the possible effects of Tropical Storm #RamilPH in the capital region.

MMDA personnel continue to conduct drainage and waterway clearing operations along major thoroughfares to remove garbage and debris that often cause blockages and flooding during heavy rains.

The agency reiterated its call for public cooperation by avoiding littering and improper waste disposal, emphasizing that community discipline plays a key role in maintaining a cleaner and safer environment, especially during the typhoon season.
