Motorists can now check and manage their Non-Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) violations through the government’s eGovPH Super App following the launch of a new integrated service, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said Thursday.
The MMDA, in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), rolled out the NCAP Online Violation and Payment System within the app to provide a more secure and centralized platform for traffic-related transactions.
The ceremonial launch was led by MMDA Chairman Don Artes alongside DICT Secretary Henry Aguda and other government officials and transport sector representatives.
Artes said the integration supports the national government’s push to make public services more accessible through digital platforms.
“This supports the digitalization push for a unified platform where Filipinos can conveniently access various government services in one application,” he said.
He noted that the MMDA’s MayHuliKa website has recorded more than 15 million visits, with over 11 million traffic violations checked and more than 2.7 million unique users, reflecting increased adoption of online government services.
Artes added that the agency aims to use technology to improve efficiency in public service delivery.
Aguda said the initiative aligns with the administration’s goal of inclusive digital transformation.
“Digital services should be faster, more affordable, and more secure so that no Filipino is left behind,” he said.
DICT Undersecretary David Almirol Jr. said the eGovPH Super App has reached 60 million downloads, 55 million verified users, and 955 million transactions.
He added that the integration was completed after six months of collaboration between MMDA and DICT technical teams.
Officials assured the public that transactions made through the app are protected by round-the-clock cybersecurity monitoring and encrypted data systems to safeguard personal information.
Through the new feature, motorists can verify NCAP records, view violation details, check payment status, and access related services online.
