The body of a 13-year-old who was reported missing was discovered along the shoreline of Obando, Bulacan, close to the Navotas border, said the Manila Public Information Office on Monday.

The minor was reportedly bathing at an area within Baseco, Manila when he went missing last week.

Search and retrieval operations led by the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD) were conducted for the missing teenager.

The victim’s remains were positively identified by his relatives, who requested prompt preparations for his burial.
