Organizers of Miss Philippines Earth 2026 have officially opened applications for this year’s competition, calling on Filipinas nationwide to champion environmental protection under the theme “Love in Action.”
The annual pageant, known for its strong advocacy on environmental awareness and sustainable development, aims to select a representative who will promote eco-tourism, climate action, and community-based environmental initiatives both locally and internationally.
The reigning titleholder, Joy Barcoma, currently leads ongoing environmental campaigns as the country’s ambassador for sustainability. Winners of the competition traditionally go on to represent the country in the Miss Earth pageant, where the Philippines has consistently been a strong contender.
Applicants must be natural-born Filipinas aged 18 to 26, at least high school graduate, and possess strong communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to environmental causes. Candidates are also required to be at least 5’4” in height, of good moral character, and single with no children.
Interested participants must submit a completed application form, birth certificate, academic diploma, high-resolution photos in swimsuit and long gown, and a one-minute introductory video explaining their environmental advocacy. Applications may be sent online or submitted in person at the pageant’s official office in Mandaluyong City.
Organizers emphasized that beyond beauty and personality, the competition seeks women who can actively promote sustainability and inspire communities to take part in protecting the environment—reinforcing the pageant’s mission of combining pageantry with environmental responsibility.
