

Michelle O’Bombshell, the celebrated impersonator and stand-up comedian has passed away. Her death was confirmed on Monday, April 6, by friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Best known for her impersonations of former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama, born Roderic Cuntapay, O’Bombshell became a familiar face in comedy b ars and on television, earning a loyal following with her sharp humor and magnetic stage presence.
Singer-comedienne Tuesday Vargas shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, remembering Michelle as both a friend and mentor.
“Para sa iba ikaw si Michelle, pero para sa akin ikaw ang nag-iisang Ador ng buhay ko… You will be missed, Ador. Salamat sa lahat ng mga naituro mo sa akin lalo na sa pagsusulat at pag-perform… Mahal ka namin Ador. Rest in power,” Vargas wrote.
Michelle’s career spanned multiple platforms. She appeared on GMA-7 shows such as Comedy Bar (2010–2011), Sunday PinaSaya (2015–2019), and Laff Camera Action (2016). She also acted in the primetime series Diva (2010) and the film My Amiga Girl (2012), alongside Daiana Menezes.
