

Internationally renowned Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco has praised hosts Miss Earth Philippines 2025 Joy Barcoma and Mr. World Philippines 2026 first runner up Sean Kyle Ortega for their hosting performances during the inaugural Reina Filipinas 2026 pageant, where he also served as one of the judges.
Barcoma shared on Facebook a screenshot of a private Instagram message from Cinco, in which he commended her poise, eloquence, and professionalism as host of the pageant.
"Hello, Joy! I really enjoyed your hosting at Reina Filipinas. I love how effortlessly you speak with such eloquence, wit, and impeccable grammar. You and Sean are truly the best hosts ever!" Cinco wrote.
He also lauded Barcoma for elevating the event through her hosting.
"I'm so proud and happy to have witnessed such amazing talent. You made the whole event even more enjoyable and memorable. Congratulations, Joy! You were absolutely brilliant!" he added.
Sharing the message, Barcoma described it as her "biggest flex" and thanked everyone who supported her hosting stint.
"BIGGEST FLEX TODAY!!! 🥹 Maraming salamat po sa overwhelming support after our Reina Filipinas hosting stint! Feels so good to be recognized for your craft!" she wrote.
She also thanked Reina Filipinas organizers Nawat Itsaragrisil, Jojo Bragais, and Emma Tiglao for the opportunity.
"Salamat din kina Papa Nawat, Sir Jojo, and Ms. Emma for the opportunity! Pati sa inyong lahat kasi grabe ang RF fever natin!" she added.
Earlier, Cinco also congratulated Barcoma's co-host, Mr. World Philippines 2026 first runner-up Sean Kyle Ortega, through a separate Instagram message.
"Sean you are the best host ever... you should host international pageant..." Cinco wrote.
Ortega shared the message on Facebook, expressing his gratitude to the celebrated designer.
"Pinch me I must be dreaming 🥹🙏❤️ Thank you sir Michael!! And Jose Joaquin Bragais so proud of you!!!" Ortega wrote.
Cinco's messages drew praise from pageant fans, with many highlighting the chemistry and professionalism displayed by Barcoma and Ortega during the successful staging of the inaugural Reina Filipinas pageant, where Angelica Lopez was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026.
