Metro Manila is expected to experience cloudy skies with light rains on Friday due to the northeast monsoon, locally known as Amihan, the PAGASA said.
No significant weather impacts are expected, PAGASA added, as the city hosts the annual Traslacion for the Feast of the Jesus Nazarene.
Similar weather conditions are forecasted for the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Cagayan Valley, and the rest of CALABARZON.
According to PAGASA’s 4 a.m. bulletin, Bicol Region and Northern Samar will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the presence of a shearline. The rest of Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by easterlies.
In Luzon, Aurora, Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal, and Quezon are expected to have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon. Other parts of Luzon will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, also influenced by the Amihan.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to easterly winds.
