The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said it is ready to comply with the Energy Regulatory Commission’s directive to refund P9.5 billion in excess charges from the actual weighted average tariff (AWAT).

Atty. Jose Ronald Valles, Senior Vice President at Head of Regulatory Management said the amount will be returned to consumers as soon as possible.
