The MBC Operation Tulong crossed Ticao Island to distribute relief goods and conduct a feeding mission for families severely affected by the typhoon.
Residents will receive hot meals and essential relief packs to help them recover from the disaster.
According to RH 18 Ruel Saldico’s report on “Dos Por Dos,” the relief mission was led by Ms. Mae Binauhan, who is fondly dubbed as DZRH’s “Wonder Woman” for her continuous efforts in providing assistance to those in need.
The operation was a joint initiative of the MBC team, in coordination with Alagang Unilab, Aksyon Radyo, and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)–Bicol. The mission also received support from Pinky Cares and Harvard OPM Philippines.
MBC’s Operation Tulong, together with its partner organizations, continues to extend humanitarian assistance across the country.
The group has been consistently conducting feeding programs, medical and dental missions, bloodletting drives, job fairs, and other outreach initiatives in cooperation with local government units (LGUs), medical associations, and private entities. These efforts aim to provide immediate support and comfort to families affected by disasters and those in need.
