Maynilad Water Services Inc. advised the public on Sunday about an emergency pipe breakage in a major water pipeline at Sta. Maria Street corner Coral Street in Tondo, Manila.

It said that residents in some parts of Manila and Cavite may experience low water pressure and an eventual temporary loss of water supply.

However, Maynilad assured that its pressure management and repair works team is currently fixing the leakage to ensure that services are back to normal at the earliest possible instance.

In the meantime, the water provider has deployed water tankers carrying clean water to affected areas. In some areas, stationary water tanks can be accessed until the repair is completed.

The areas affected by the emergency leak repair extend beyond Metro Manila. The list is as follows:

• Las Piñas City

• Parañaque City

• Pasay City

• Bacoor City

• Cavite City

• Imus City

• Kawit, Cavite

• Rosario, Cavite

Maynilad reminded the public that the restoration schedule may change based on the extent of the damage to be assessed.
