Marvel star Chris Evans and his wife, Alba Baptista, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl!

News reports said the couple welcomed their little one on October 24 in Massachusetts. Reports by TMZ said the pair had given their daughter both their last names.

Although Evans and Baptista had mostly kept their relationship private, the latter had attended several movie premieres in recent months.

They first confirmed their relationship in early 2023 and tied the knot in a private ceremony in September that year at a private estate in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

However, this was not the first time the public was informed of her pregnancy. Earlier this year, Evans’ father-in-law may have unintentionally spilled the beans after the latter replied to a Father’s Day post with, “Many thanks dear Chris. Your turn is coming!”

After the news broke out, the internet exploded with reactions, with fans flooding social media with congratulations and humor.

“So we gonna get a new Caption America in about 20 years????” one fan joked.

“Imagine going to school and being able to say your dad is Captain America,” another wrote.
