Summer just got started, but Marina Summers is already owning it as her season!
Marina Summers strutted down the Cannes Film Festival red carpet last week, repping for the Filipino Drag and Queer community.
Summers gushed about the occasion in an Instagram post on Friday, expressing her honor at being invited.
“So so so honored to be the first Filipina drag queen to be invited to walk the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival. Such a big moment to be repping for the Filipino Drag and Queer community in the sea of people on the red carpet,” she captioned her post.

Additionally, Marina lauded her glam team for making “herstory” with her.
“I OWE YOU THIS BIG TIME!” she said. “I will forever treasure this moment! Love you!”
Marina graced the red carpet wearing a sleek black dress adorned with sequins. This was paired with elegant dangling earrings and a sleek high bun.

Meanwhile, in an X post, Marina shared that Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie complimented her during the event.
“EXCUSE MY BACK BUT ANGELINA JOLIE SAID I LOOK GORGEOUS TONIGHT!!!!!!!” she wrote, sharing a photo of her and Jolie.
Marina is best known for competing in "Drag Race Philippines" Season 1 in 2022. Last year, she competed in “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs The World” Series 2, making her the first Filipina drag queen contestant.
