President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. declined to comment when asked about Vice President Sara Duterte’s claim that she no longer feels safe following the issuance of an arrest warrant against her for three counts of grave threats.

When asked by the media about Duterte’s claims, Marcos merely shook his head and gave no comment.

Duterte earlier said she felt unsafe and expressed a lack of trust in the Philippine National Police (PNP).

On Saturday, the Vice President surrendered to the Quezon City Regional Trial Court, a day after a warrant of arrest was issued against her over three counts of grave threats.

Duterte posted a total bail of ₱360,000, or ₱120,000 for each count.

The case stemmed from allegations that Duterte made threats against Marcos, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and then-House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
