President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. on Tuesday encouraged the public to visit the three newly opened heritage structures, that exhibit the history and life of all presidents of the country, at the Malacañang Palace Complex in Manila.
The President along with First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos formally led the opening of the three historical structures — Bahay Ugnayan Museum, Goldenberg Mansion and the Teus Mansion.
“It is now open to the public. I invite everyone to come in there. Puntahan ninyo, lalo na ‘yung ating mga estudyante na nais makita ang lahat ng mga pangulo ng ating Republika ay nandiyan lahat,” Marcos told the media.
The Malacañang Heritage Tours is a project initiated by the First Lady that also aims to preserve the nation building.
“If you are in this part of the city, come and visit. It’s very educational definitely. It’s free by the way. We don’t charge an entrance fee, so come one and come all and I think that you will find it very, very interesting,” the President said.
Former first lady Imelda Marcos bought the Goldenberg Mansion as a guest house for formal functions in 1966, and she then later on bought Teus Mansion.
The three Museums can be visited starting June 1, from 9am to 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
