President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has called on all Filipinos to celebrate Easter Sunday with renewed faith, hope, and unity.
In his official message released on Sunday, the President highlighted the enduring significance of Christ’s Resurrection as a symbol of life, hope, and renewal.
“The empty tomb stands as a powerful testament that life conquers death and hope prevails over despair,” Marcos said. He urged Filipinos to carry the spirit of Easter into daily life by choosing compassion, generosity, and unity over indifference, self-interest, and division.
The President further encouraged citizens to rise with a sense of purpose and responsibility for one another, working together to build a Bagong Pilipinas defined by kindness, faith, and shared vision.
Marcos concluded his message with Easter greetings, wishing all Filipinos a “Maligayang Pasko ng Pagkabuhay.”
