President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos has appointed Land Transportation Office (LTO) Chief Vigor Mendoza II as the new Chairman of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

Mendoza confirmed the appointments during the program of DZRH's Dos Por Dos.

Meanwhile, Special Envoy for Transnational Crime Markus Lacanlao has been appointed as the new LTO Chief, replacing Mendoza.

Teofilo Guadiz III, the current LTFRB Chairman, will be reassigned as head of the Office of the Transportation Cooperative.

Mendoza is scheduled to take his oath of office later today, October 10.
