President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has announced a proposed ₱120-billion elevated road project connecting Balintawak, Quezon City, to Bocaue, Bulacan, backed by the MVP and San Miguel Corporation (SMC) groups.

The project aims to improve transportation efficiency, reduce logistics costs, save fuel, and speed up the delivery of goods to support economic growth.

Meanwhile, Marcos led the inauguration of the first section of NLEX Segment 8.2 Section 1A, connecting Mindanao Avenue and Quirino Highway.

The two-kilometer expressway segment is expected to cut travel time from 40 minutes to just five minutes, benefiting an estimated 11,000 vehicles daily.
