Maharlika Investment fund, ROTC among priority bills of the Marcos admin

The Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF) bill and the mandatory Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) are among the 10 priority bills of the Marcos administration, Malacañang announced on Monday.
In a press release, the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) said the priority bills were listed by the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) during its first executive committee meeting.
Other priority measures are as follows:
- Amendments to the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT)
- Law/Public-Private Partnership (PPP) bill
- Medical Reserve Corps
- Philippine Center for Disease Prevention and Control
- The Creation of the Virology Institute of the Philippines
- The Condonation of Unpaid Amortization and Interests of Loans of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs)
- Internet Transactions Act/E-Commerce Law
- Attrition law/ Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Fixed Term
- Salt Industry Development Bill
The Senate aims to pass the measures by the end of the first regular session of the 19th Congress on June 2, the PCO said.

The LEDAC meeting, led by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, was held at the Palace on Monday.
