Former Senate Sergeant-At-Arms Mao Aplasca filed his counter-affidavit before the Department of Justice (DOJ) on Wednesday, October 28.
Aplasca personally attended the third preliminary investigation for the direct assault case filed by the PNP-CIDG regarding the shooting incident last May at the Senate building. Aplasca did not give any statement and simply gave the media a thumbs-up after his appearance, RH Tina Nolasco reported.
DOJ Spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez said that the PNP-CIDG has until November 6 to submit its reply. Upon submission, Martinez said that Aplasca and the other respondents are required to submit their rejoinder affidavits to any new allegations in the reply until November 13 this year.
“We submitted the counter affidavit today, and the PNP-CIDG, as a complainant, was given until November 6 to file the reply affidavit in case they wish to do so,” he said.
