Former senator and boxing legend Manny Pacquiao is set to file charges against vlogger Norman Mangusin, also known as “Francis Leo Marcos,” after the latter allegedly made insulting remarks against Pacquiao’s mother, Dionisia Pacquiao.

Pacquiao decided to pursue legal action after being shown a video of Mangusin’s livestream, where the vlogger was explaining his claimed “royal blood” and responding to comments from netizens.

In the livestream, a netizen questioned Mangusin’s claim, saying, “Kung donya at may royal blood si Aling Remy, bakit mukhang baluga?”

Mangusin replied, “Eh bakit yung nanay ni Pacquiao mas masahol pa sa baluga?”

After watching the video, Pacquiao asked, “Kilala ba niya ako?” and later instructed his lawyer to file a case against Mangusin.

“No’ng narinig ko na pati mama ko gaganyanin niya? Magagalit talaga ako. Hindi mo pa ako kilalang lubusan. Pasalamat ka naging Christian ako,” Pacquaio warned.

Prior to this, Pacquiao also learned that Mangusin claimed he owed him 30 million dollars, an allegation which Pacquiao strongly denied.

Despite the controversy, Pacquiao said he is open to helping Mangusin seek medical treatment, expressing concern that the vlogger may be suffering from “psychological imbalance“.
