Classes at all levels in Manila were suspended on Thursday, July 2, as the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) anti-corruption rally entered its third day at Liwasang Bonifacio.

Manila Mayor Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso ordered the suspension in both public and private schools due to the expected influx of rally participants, which city officials said could cause heavy foot traffic, road congestion, and public safety concerns.

The rally is expected to take place in Manila after authorities in Quezon City revoked the group's permit to hold Thursday's protest there.

In a message to INC members, Domagoso welcomed the group and urged participants to keep the activity peaceful and maintain the cleanliness of the area.
