The Manila North Cemetery management issued reminders and guidelines ahead of the expected influx of visitors for Undas this year.
October 27 has been set as the deadline for cleaning, repairs, and repainting of tombs, while October 28 will be the last day for burials before the Undas period.
From October 29 to November 2, the cemetery will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Vehicle entry will be strictly prohibited during these dates to ensure the safety and convenience of visitors.
The management also reminded the public that the following items are prohibited inside the cemetery: firearms and sharp objects, alcoholic beverages, pets, guitars and loud sound systems, as well as flammable materials such as alcohol and thinner.
The Manila North Cemetery management said the early announcement aims to maintain order and ensure the safety and security of families visiting their departed loved ones.
Regular cemetery operations will resume on November 3.
